I remember the rain when mists and canon clouds entwine.

We stood together holding hands and promised our love would never end.

I remember the pain
and the bitter sadness of rejection

as we struggled through the storm

and drops fell and shattered our tears,

blending with a flood of emotion.

I screamed. I scream wildly

until I was calm.
